A Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Tuesday FEBRUARY 05, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the MET Transit Conference room located at 1705 Monad Rd. All interested contractors are encouraged to attend.

All laborers and mechanics employed by contractors or subcontractors in performance of this Contract will be paid wages at rates as may be required by the laws of the CITY OF BILLINGS and the State of Montana. The CONTRACTOR must ensure employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against in regards to race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.

Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond payable to the CITY OF BILLINGS, Montana, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. The bid security will be retained by the City Clerk until the successful bidder enters into a contract with the CITY OF BILLINGS. If no contract is entered into, by the successful bidder, within thirty (30) days the security may be forfeited to the CITY OF BILLINGS. Bid bonds will be returned to unsuccessful bidders immediately after final action on the bid, by the City Council.

Three (3) copies of each bid shall be supplied for the Aviation and Transit Department.

Bidders may withdraw their bid either personally or by written request at any time prior to the time set for bid opening. No bid may be withdrawn or modified after the time set for opening, unless and until the award of the contract is delayed for a period exceeding thirty (30) days.

The right is reserved to reject any or all bids received, to waive irregularities, to postpone the award of the contract for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days, and to accept the bid which is in the best interest of the CITY OF BILLINGS, Montana.
Successful bidders may be required to furnish an approved Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Bond Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract.
