The selected firm will be asked to provide on-call water rights legal services. The following specific areas of need may be included:

1. Modification of water rights associated with abandoning or rehabilitating Missoula Water’s wilderness dams

2. Relocating or eliminating existing Missoula Water wells and the subsequent changing of points of diversion.

3. Drilling of redundant wells as additional points of diversion on existing water rights

4. Adding points of diversion to existing under-utilized unperfected well water rights

5. Assisting with the evaluation of potential water rights purchases or leasing opportunities

6. Analyzing impacts to Missoula Water’s water rights from other proposed water rights applications

7. Other water rights issues that may arise
