Description:

The City of Missoula (“City”) is seeking to digitize its historical microfiche building plans and associated records into PDF/A records.

The City's current inventory of microfiche/diazo duplicates/cards consist of both 16mm and 35mm formats.

Deliverables

• PDF/A file of scanned microfiche/diazo duplicates/cards (16mm and 35mm) in greyscale.

• Files indexed by address (street number and name)

• Cropping of images to the copy board.

• Image enhancement and additional cropping, if needed.

• Title bar saved as first image of each file.

• Files saved to a cloud drive as scanned and made accessible to City staff for download in real time.

• Files saved to external hard drive to be shipped to the City.

• Microfiche/diazo duplicates/cards, safely packaged and shipped back to the City, in like manner they were received, C.O.D.
