CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA CALL FOR BIDS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Bozeman, Montana, is accepting sealed bids for:

Westlake Park Improvements

Separate sealed bids for construction of City of Bozeman Westlake Park Improvements will be received by the City Clerk at the office of City Hall, 121 North Rouse Ave., Suite 202, P.O. Box 1230, Bozeman, Montana 59771-1230 until 3:00 p.m., local time, June 8, 2023 and then publicly opened and read aloud.

Please write the name of the project on the front of the sealed bid.

Bids must be received before 3:00 p.m. on June 8, 2023. Original copies must be submitted - no faxed or electronic bids will be accepted. Bids will be opened and read following the close of bids.

The project work is generally described as follows:

Regrading of the existing mountain bike course and providing stormwater improvements. Additional improvements include an entry plaza at Aspen Street, paved pathways to circulate the park, concrete pads for bleacher accessibility, boulevard trees and new landscaping. The existing BMX track is to remain in place with no work to occur within the existing track at this time.

The work will be completed within 120 calendar days following Notice to Proceed.

The Contract Documents may be examined or obtained at the office of Sanderson Stewart; 106 E Babcock St, Suite L1, Bozeman, Montana 59715 in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Required deposit is $50.00 per set, which is not refundable.

There will be a Pre-Bid Conference at the project site, 700 North 5 th Avenue at 10:30 a.m. on May 30, 2023. Interested CONTRACTORS are encouraged to attend. For further information concerning this project, please contact Erik Sweet, PLA of Sanderson Stewart at 406-869-3344.

CONTRACTOR and any of the CONTRACTOR’S subcontractors doing work on this project will be required to obtain registration with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). Forms for registration are available from the Department of Labor and Industry, P.O. Box 8011, 1805 Prospect Avenue, Helena, Montana 59604-8011. Information on registration can be obtained by calling 1-406-444-7734.
