NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Bozeman, Montana, is accepting sealed bids for:
Oak Street and North 27th Avenue Intersection Improvements
Separate sealed bids for construction of City of Bozeman Oak Street and North 27th Avenue Intersection Improvements will be received by the City Clerk at the office of City Hall, Suite 200, 121 North Rouse Ave., P.O. Box 1230, Bozeman, Montana 59771-1230 until 2:00 p.m., local time, July 2, 2019 and then publicly opened and read aloud.
Please write the name of the project on the front of the sealed bid.

Bids must be received before 2:00 p.m. on July 2, 2019. Original copies must be submitted - no faxed or electronic bids will be accepted. Bids will be opened and read following the close of bids.
The project work is generally described as follows:
New traffic signal at the intersection of Oak Street and North 27th Avenue, widening on the east leg of the intersection and new ADA accommodations throughout the intersection.
The work will be completed within 30 calendar days following Notice to Proceed.
The Contract Documents may be examined or obtained at the office of Sanderson Stewart; 106 East Babcock, Bozeman, Montana 59715 or examined at the City of Bozeman Engineering Department, 20 East Olive Street, Bozeman, Montana 59771-1230, 406-582-2280, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Required deposit is $50.00 per set, which is not refundable.
There will be a Pre-Bid Conference at the office of the City of Bozeman Engineering Department at 2:00 p.m. on June 18, 2019. Interested CONTRACTORS are encouraged to attend.
CONTRACTOR and any of the CONTRACTOR’S subcontractors doing work on this project will be required to obtain registration with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). Forms for registration are available from the Department of Labor and Industry, P.O. Box 8011, 1805 Prospect Avenue, Helena, Montana 59604-8011. Information on registration can be obtained by calling 1-406-444-7734. CONTRACTOR is not required to have registered with the DLI prior to bidding on this project, but must have registered prior to execution of the Construction Agreement. All laborers and mechanics employed by CONTRACTOR or subcontractors in performance of the construction work shall be paid wages at rates as may be required by the laws of Ga
