Sealed bids will be received by the Bozeman City Clerk’s Office, Bozeman, Montana, at the office in City Hall, 121 N. Rouse Avenue, Bozeman, Montana, until 2:00 PM (local time), Thursday, March 2, 2023, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

The Project generally consists of remodeling the existing pick-up truck garage into offices and storage space and adding a new garage structure and small entry structure. Some site work, including regrading and paving are included. Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing systems will be expanded.

Bids will be received for Solid Waste Facility – Office Remodel and Garage Addition in accordance with the Specifications and other Contract Documents.

Bid Documents may also be viewed through the Builders’s Exchanges. A pre-bid walk-through is scheduled for Thursday, February 23, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. Participants should meet at the north end of the Solid Waste Facility.

Bids shall be submitted on the form provided within the Contract Documents. Bids shall be accompanied by an acceptable form of Bid Security in the amount of 10% of the total bid. Acceptable forms of Bid Security are as follows: Certified Check, Cashier’s Check, Bank Draft, Lawful US Currency, Bank Money Order or Bid Bond made payable to City of Bozeman, Bozeman, Montana, as a guarantee that if the Proposal is accepted, the Bidder will execute the Contract and fill acceptable Performance and Labor & Material Payment Bonds no later than ten (10) days after the Award of the Contract.

CONTRACTOR and any of the CONTRACTOR’S subcontractors bidding or doing work on this project will be required to be registered with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry (DLI).
