NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Bozeman, Montana, is accepting sealed bids for:

5th Avenue Trail

Separate sealed bids for construction of City of Bozeman 5th Avenue Trail will be received by the City Clerk at the office of City Hall, 121 North Rouse Ave., Suite 200, P.O. Box 1230, Bozeman, Montana 59771-1230 until 2:00 p.m., local time, February 1, 2024 and then publicly opened and read aloud.

Please write the name of the project on the front of the sealed bid.

Bids must be received before 2:00 p.m. on February 1, 2024. Original copies must be submitted - no faxed or electronic bids will be accepted. Bids will be opened and read following the close of bids.

The project work is generally described as follows:

Construction of a shared-use path along 5th Avenue from Tamarack Street to Oak Street and related improvements.

The work will be completed within 60 calendar days following Notice to Proceed.

The Contract Documents may be examined or obtained at the office of Sanderson Stewart; 106 E Babcock St, Suite L1, Bozeman, Montana 59715 in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Required deposit is $50.00 per set, which is not refundable.

There will be a Pre-Bid Conference at the office of Sanderson Stewart, 106 E Babcock St, Suite L1 at 10:00 a.m. on January 25, 2024. Interested CONTRACTORS are encouraged to attend. CONTRACTOR and any of the CONTRACTOR’S subcontractors doing work on this project will be required to obtain registration with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). Forms for registration are available from the Department of Labor and Industry, P.O. Box 8011, 1805 Prospect Avenue, Helena, Montana 59604-8011.
