CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA Call for Bids

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Bozeman, Montana, is accepting sealed bids for:

N 3 ^rd Public Improvements

The City of Bozeman will receive online electronic sealed Bids for Construction of the N 3 ^rd Apartments – N 3 ^rd Ave Improvements until 10:00AM MT on 11/02/23 and then publicly opened and read aloud at Bozeman City Hall located at 121 N Rouse Ave, Bozeman , MT 59715.

Project Description: N 3 ^rd Apartments

The scope of work includes city-reimbursable costs for the Public ROW improvements on N 3 ^rd Ave adjacent to the N 3rd Apartments development in Bozeman, MT.

Including:

• Installation and construction of the city water main
• Sanitary sewer main
• Service stubs to neighboring properties on the eastern portion of N 3rd Avenue; totaling 9 water and 9 sewer connections.
• Pavement restoration for the public improvements will also be eligible for city-reimbursement including:
  • Structural backfill.
  • Asphalt patches over utility trenches
  • 1.25” mill/1.25” thick 3/8” asphalt overlay
• Structural backfill has not been included in quantity estimate.

CONTRACTOR and any of the CONTRACTOR’S subcontractors bidding or doing work on this project will be required to be registered with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). Forms for registration are available from the DLI, PO Box 8011, 1805 Prospect, Helena, Montana 59604-8011. Information on registration can be obtained by calling (406) 444-7734. CONTRACTOR is not required to have registered with the DLI prior to bidding on this project, but must have registered prior to execution of the Construction Agreement. All laborers and mechanics employed by CONTRACTOR or subcontractors in performance of the construction work shall be paid wages at rates as may be required by the laws of Gallatin County and the state of Montana.
