The Center has three backup diesel generators for the Food services, waste water and domestic water. The 450 KVA Generac diesel generator is provided to Food Service Building 15 and two 25 kVA diesel generators are provided to Structure B and Structure L for domestic water and sanitary sewer systems. A 15 kW/15 kVA diesel generator housed in the waste water structure provides backup power to the recirculation pumps via a 100A automatic transfer switch. A 20 kW/25 kVA standby diesel generator house in the main water structure, with a 100 ATS provides backup power for domestic water well pumps.
This service entails a comprehensive evaluation of all components associated with emergency backup generators to include; check of all fluids and working parts associated with the generators. Replacement of oil and fuel filters, coolant renewal, and replacement of worn parts such as batteries, starters, hoses, belts, fuel delivery system, etc. This includes generator, engine and transfer switch inspections.
