SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES AND A PURCHASE ORDER WILL NOT BE AWARDED AS A RESULT OF THIS NOTICE.

This is a Sources Sought Announcement for treatment of noxious weeds for approximately 200+ acres at Clark Canyon Dam. Clark Canyon Dam is located approximately 20 miles southwest of Dillion, Beaverhead County, Montana. This announcement is being used for market research and advanced planning purposes. Proposals are not being requested and will not be accepted from this Sources Sought Notice.

Bureau of Reclamation, Great Plains Region, Montana Area office has a requirement for the treatment of invasive species on 200+ acres of federal lands surrounding Clark Canyon Dam and Reservoir located in Beaverhead County, Montana. The terrain consists of forested areas and open range lands. The control of the noxious weeds will include aerial application, ground application, and integrated pest management techniques as appropriate to the area of concern. As required by applicable laws it is necessary that all personnel are qualified and licensed in the State of Montana for the commercial application of chemicals.

The Government is seeking interested small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses, woman-owned small businesses, HubZone small businesses and/or service-disabled veteran owned small business concerns who have the specialized knowledge, experience and resources necessary to successfully the inspection and repairs. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 561730 ¿ Landscaping Services, with a small business size standard of $8.5 Million.
If an interested small business concern believes they are qualified and able to perform the work required under this proposed requirement, please submit a capability statement demonstrating their ability to successfully accomplish the various components of requirement outlined above.

The Government will not reimburse any costs associated with responding to this Sources Sought Notice. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a Request for Quote or ultimately award a purchase order, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will not be bound to this information if a Request for Quote is issued. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action, based on the responses to this notice, is at the discretion of the Government.

Capability statements shall be submitted to Audrey Whetham at awhetham@usbr.gov by 4:00 PM MDT on December 28, 2022.
