Notice of Intent to Sole Source



U.S. Customs and Border Protection intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price sole source award to JM Performance Horses (2756 Indian Creek RD Eureka, Montana 59917-9426) for boarding services of two (2) CBP horses, with an option for one (1) additional horse in the future. Due to the nature of Border Patrol’s operations, Horse Boarding facilities must be located a minimum of 15 miles from the Eureka Station, and meet all other requirements of the Statement of Work.





This proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.





A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any vendors who believe they can provide the services and can provide proof of ability to meet the requirements should email their company’s capabilities information to the attention of Christopher Shaw, Contract Specialist, by the date and time in this notice. Information submitted should fully support the company’s capability to perform the work required.
