BRIEF SCOPE OF WORK

Project Scope
A recycling program is needed for the above mentioned VA Medical Center.
Types of recycling include: plastics, tin, aluminum, soda cans, soda bottles (plastic), light weight cardboard, magazines, newspapers, home office paper (white/pastel paper, copy/fax paper, post-it notes, manila envelopes, file folders, paper ream wrappers), and junk mail.
The contractor would be expected to provide pick-up services at least every other week. Contractor will be responsible for empting all bins, both internal and external to all building associated with the VA Montana Health Care System (approximately 27 rooms/locations within the VA Medical Center). The contractor will be responsible for proper disposal of all recyclable materials and ensure that facilities used for recycling under the terms of the contract are operated in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations which govern the disposal of waste and the operation of recycling/disposal facilities.
The contractor will need to maintain and provide a quarterly weight report, outlining the volume of waste and recycled materials collected at each pick-up date.
Contractor shall furnish all personnel, labor, equipment, tools, materials, and vehicles necessary to provide collection, removal, and recycle of materials for the VA Medical Center and the Sleep Lab.
